I use the term "Item gang*crag*" to define when you're hit by two or more items in a fast, well-timed sequence that crushes either your morale, your performance, or both. I guess more people use that term as well.
As it usually happens to people in first place, I bet many of you have been item gang*crag*ed. So, how was the worse of them like?
As for me, I was in Dry Dry Ruins, and I was on the lead and far off the rest of the racers, but suddenly, I'm hit by a large string of red and blue shells, with a green one to finish up. I got 4th place after the massive combo.
And in the same cup, at Rainbow Road, a POW Block came up so I rushed towards a ramp close and evaded it by staying midair, but then, lightninh comes down and I'm sent down to Earth. |

I had possibly the most hilarious thing happen in Luigi Circuit.
In 1st. Hit by a person with a Starman. Fall into 4th.
Hit by ANOTHER person with a Starman. Fall into 8th.
Hit by yet ANOTHER person with a Starman. Fall into 11th.
Guy in 12th runs into an item box and gets a Bullet Bill. I get the shrooms knocked out of me and finish last.
Also, when a guy threw a banana on my head, then hit me with a shell, then a guy threw a Bob-omb at me, and then I was hit by a car and off the road by Bowser in Moonview Highway. |

My worst one involved me getting hit with a Blue Shell, then a red shell, then shrank in midair. It usually doesn't affect me to badly but it still pisses me off alot. |

Don't forget that if the person in first finished the race, the Blue Shell will seek out the person in 2nd, and so on. |
