The big deal is, MOST THE DRAMAMONGERS, FLAMERS AND SPAMMERS DON'T KNOW WHO THEY ARE.
Once we stand up and say it on the face of the people that they are dramafags, flamers, spammers... That's when we can actually get off the zero progress. Heck, some of the most obvious dramamongers/flamers/spammers don't realize that they're being what they are being.
As for the hierarchy, I've seen very well visible cases of it. Both Crazy Cody and Luigi Mario posted topics in GD about how they were having trouble (Digiblogger didn't exist back then). Now just guess who got the most replies and who got prooflessly and mercilessly called an attn whore. It's so *crag* obvious. I would be more welcoming of newbies too, but sadly, I don't even bother checking Intros anymore. Too many people going IMMA LEEV DIGI when I know that it won't be long until they are back. Even if they deactivate their accounts, they end up back somehow.
Lastly, I have a fun topic in OT. Some of you, specially Mister I, know the Detective Game very well. But it's being a real bother to keep it bumped and with enough people to play. Why? Because it takes a lot of organisation, and because of that, it just can't compete with all the SPAM in OT. I have tried a lot of advertising, but I still need a few more players and I've got nobody to advertise it for. So am I doing my part? |
I agree with everything here but the bolded parts are the ones I agree with the most. You see, the thing is...when someone "popular" posts spam, no one bothers to report that posts because...well, biased again. Instead you guys posts in a spam topic. I don't know about you guys but from now on, everytime I see a spam topic no matter WHO POSTED It, i'm seriously gonna click that report button and say its spam. Its probably one way to stop the spammings, flamings, and possibly, the drama. |

I definitely agree. It isn't the mods fault, its every single member. Digibutter is like clay. It is shaped by the members. However, I don't know what happened, but we are heading in a bad direction. Our waters are poisoned, its lot at a lethal point yet, but it's getting there. We need to stop spamming OT, its time to take charge and save this site. We need newer members to not be shunned, ignored, or ridiculed. If they came in, it would be like putting more water in. It would delude the poison. The "good ol days" aren't going to magically come back, we have to work. TEAM WORK, YO! |

...That was, like, two different metphors in one post, Goomba. XD
But yeah, I agree. We all need to change and work hard to make this work.
But I have a question. When WERE the "Good ol' days"? When was it? |

Like I said, read my old posts, or read your old posts. And look for good old fun topics. Remember this? It could be ONE example.
And yes, we should take action. How will we help? TRY to fill OT with GOOD topics that isn't spam or drama or flame related (spam is like, a topic with no purpose, just like a one word topic or a topic just to say that your happy or something like that). Try to make a topic that serves a purpose, like the one I just posted up there, or CFH's detective game. Look for old topics that were fun, try to revive that by reposting it, like the your momma jokes topic. Thats one way to try to relieve the old days. From what I saw DP, your old posts seemed fun. You went to the RP board a lot, so why not try RP again? |

I would RP again, but the RP board changed too much. I'm not the best RPer, so Ic an't do those serious one topic huge RPs. It was fun until they forced it to change. |

Ahh thats okay then DP, at least you can try to make RPOT fun if you can... Also, I tried to "take action" so I just made a 'hopefully' fun topic in OT. Hey just trying to relieve the good ol' days ^~^ I just hope SPAM topics won't kill my topic... Also, read Lord Bowser's old posts, since his days were epic...
