First of all: if you can't act serious about this then you can kindly GTFO of mah topic, k.

Now, where to begin? I had been living in Illinois for about 11 years with my mom and step dad. The town was peaceful, I did well in school, and I had good friends. Unfortunately, my parents did a hefty drinking of alcohol so sometimes it wasn't so peaceful. It wasn't until they had a huge fight that they decided to go the Rehab to help themselves. This was when I also found out they did Marijuana which I never knew about.

My dad and step mom in Connecticut agreed to take care of me so they gave my mom a document to sign that they would watch over me. What she didn't know was that it said that my dad/step mom had total custody over me, when she only wanted them to watch over me when they were in Rehab. I was told before I knew about the document that I was going to go home when they got out of Rehab, but when that time came I asked my dad why I couldn't go home. He just told me it takes a long time to recover. Now I know you can never recover from alcohol and you have to go to AA daily which my parents still do.

I was sad when I found out I had to go to school in Connecticut and not with my friends. I only made little friends in 7th grade but in 8th grade I made more.

During my time, my mom had hired attorneys to try and get me back in my hometown, but my dad had also hired attorneys. My mom had to use almost all of her money in her retirement fund just to try and get me home. She hadn't been paying mortage on the house or taxes sadly. My dad is also rich and can hire the attorneys for a long time.

Unfortunately, when I came to visit my mom today for the summer, she told me she was moving somewhere else and I asked her if it was gonna be in the same school district as my old friends(I assumed I was gonna come home for high school). Sadly, she had to tell me that she couldn't fund the attorneys and gave up, or else she would have gone broke. I told her I was fine with her decision seeing that she used almost all of her money.

So now I have to call Connecticut my permanent home.

Also, saying "tl;dr" counts as not being serious. >:U

All I can say (Well, actually, there's a lot I could say relating to this) is the world is full of idiots. It disgusts me.

I'm close to tears right now. For your mom to tell you that she had to quit fighting to have you back....That must've been a serious blow.... I don't know what to say other than I give you my best wishes.

The good thing is that I have already made friends at my new school and I would feel just as bad if I left them.

I always hated leaving my friends. I have over...100 friends in grand total from all my previous locations. And I miss them a lot.
