That doesn't necessarily mean there's going to be a Dragon Quest anime in the future. It also doesn't necessarily mean there won't.

So adapting the series into an anime might be a bit tough, but what about that live-action collaboration that's in the works?

"Everyone here, including Yuji Horii, thinks of the drama not as a copy but as an original creation that pays homage to the Dragon Quest series. Also, Yuji Horii likes the types of jokes that appear in the drama."
