OnLive updated for Xperia Play (meaning: sail away the external gamepad at home)

ye may have greeted the news that OnLive be playable on tablets with a certain amount a apprehension. "But how be I supposed t' control complicated console games with a touchscreen," ye bemoaned. "I know I could use the external gamepad at home but what about when I be on the go? I be a busy, important person."

We understand yer frustration, but the OnLive wizards have concocted a solution, enabling full slide-out gamepad controls for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play or, as ye may prefer t' call it, the PlayStation Phone. So instead a virtualized buttons, a formula that OnLive knows doesn't work, 'n instead a carrying yer smartphone 'n the not-so-convenient OnLive controller, ye can bust out yer gamepad-enabled phone for that console-gaming experience on the go.

This be the future. Sony best scrap the Vita, or turn it into the Xperia Play 2.
