HD, higher resolutions, original voice actors, reloading save states at choices to see what they do, because I said so. Ps2 is outdated technology. Same can be said for the Wii if you take the time to get a bluetooth dongle and wireless sensor bar.
Shadow Of The Colossus- Because it's an amazing experience, the way everything flows in the game is very surreal. It basically set a new standard on which adventure open world games should be based, sure it starts out slow but when you find your first colossus and have to fight you way tooth and nail climbing up it's massive body, man what a freaking time.
and these games, in all seriousness:
Kingdom Hearts 1- An excellent game, a compelling story, and the battle system is very solid. Beautiful graphics and music are self explanatory coming from a joint of square enix and disney, don't let the fan base scare you away from a great game. Get it if you like JRPGs.
Kingdom Hearts 2- Same reasons as the first, another great JRPG.
Final Fantasy XII- If you can stand a somewhat disagreeable main character this is actually one of the better ones past 9
ok don't get FFXII if you're bad at tactics and MMOs Dragon Quest VIII is a fun JRPG, but maybe follow a guide if you don't wanna miss a lot of shit Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 because tactical espionage and eating snakes Ico's the game before Shadow of the Colossus even though they have nothing to do with each other
haven't played it but from what i've seen you hold a girl's hand throughout a quest and fight shadow things killer7 because it's weird as *crag* but since it's so rare you could buy the gamecube version too
screw persona final fantasy xii: best thing to happen to final fantasy since 9
final fantasy x: pretty good rpg with good sidequests and combat and stuff, problem is i haven't played it in a while and it probably hasn't aged well (the most amazing thing about it when it came out was its visuals/presentation)
kingdom hearts: it's like zelda without the puzzles and instead with a focus on combat, oh and disney
kingdom hearts 2: same thing but crappier but still good
okami
shadow of the colossus
ico
dark cloud
katamari
jak and daxter
disgaea
dargon quest viii
ratchet and clank
sly cooper
devil may cry
god of war
metal gear solid
grand theft auto
stfu claus. i hate dragon quest because it is boring, full of grinding and random encounters, and has these really dumb *crag*ing puns, not because its a jrpg.

Dragon Quest VIII is boring and archaic, and forces you to grind for money, exp, and has random encounters. Don't play Dragon Quest VIII.
Viewtiful Joe 2
Devil May Cry
Devil May Cry 3
Okami
God Hand
also dark cloud 1 and 2 are pretty good
