- taking hits from Tigrex will now infect the player with the Mad Dragon Virus
- if the gauge fills, whether by taking too much time or too many attacks, the player will not be able to automatically recover
- fend off the disease by inflicting enough of a beating on the Tigrex
- this will temporarily boost Affinity
- contamination with the Goa Magara’s scales will also allow it to track the player and cause a general debuff
