Troy Baker, amateur opera singer 'n voice a the Joker in the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins, gave a live demonstration a his vocal talents t' New York Comic-Con attendees, 'n the results be ... well, skip t' 2:12 in the above video 'n see for yourself.

The speech Baker reads in the video be from a one-shot Batman comic called "The Killing Joke," written by Alan Moore. In the comic, the monologue begins while Joker tortures Commissioner Gordon by chaining the sea dog t' a carnival ride 'n forcing the sea dog t' view pictures a his daughter Barbara Gordon (who at the time be also Batgirl), naked 'n paralyzed from a gunshot wound Joker inflicted on the wench. So yeah, it be kind a dark material.

If ye watch before Baker gives his performance, ye'll also see the sea dog describe the audition process. Apparently, Baker didn't even know who he be auditioning for until part-way through. "I remember that, walking into an audition 'n I think that, actually, it wasn't even Joker, it be a character whose name be just 'Jack,'" Baker said. It wasn't too long before Baker realized what he be reading, as well as the pressure he be under.

Baker also sings a little jingle at the end a the video, which we'll recite for ye now: "Some say I be good. Some say I be evil, even more so than the Sith. But I suppose ye'll all find out on October 25th."
