Ubisoft has released a new batch of downloadable content for its guitar instructional game Rocksmith 2014 Edition, adding a metalicious 5-track injection from Iron Maiden, along with new songs from legendary Japanese guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei.
Rocksmith 2014's new Maiden tracks include "2 Minutes To Midnight," "Aces High," "Run To The Hills," "Fear Of The Dark," and "The Number Of The Beast." Thankfully, Rocksmith does not require players to master the nightmarish percussion track from "Run To The Hills" -- Rock Band Endless Setlist veterans can insert a sigh of relief here -- though its lengthy solo will prove even more challenging for novice guitarists.
Tomoyasu Hotei's additions include the singles "Thrill" and "Bambina," along with the Kill Bill theme "Battle Without Honor or Humanity." The guitarist's tracks have previously been featured in Konami's Guitar Freaks series, and Hotei himself starred in the impossibly cheesy PSOne rhythm game Stolen Song, so he's certainly no stranger to the world of video games.
Rocksmith 2014's new tracks are priced at $2.99 individually. An Iron Maiden five-pack is also available for $11.99, while the three-song Hotei pack will cost you $7.99.
