Igarashi was inspired by Inafune's Kickstarter for Mighty No. 9

"I was really inspired by the reaction that Keiji Inafune got with Mighty No. 9. It showed me that if you have the fans, you can provide them the games they want."
Igarashi has said that a Kickstarter is certainly possible for his next project, whatever that might end up being.
