Mewtwo, because he's an actual staple in the Pokemon series.
Sadly, kids these days probably don't know who Mewtwo is, unless they saw him on Cartoon Network's reruns of the pokemon movies. |

Lucario got rid of one of my favorites.
He isn't even a good replacement(I don't think he is as much fun) his neutral Air A isn't as devastating as Mewtwos. Mewtwo was actualy cool. albeit a little slow but everybody got beefed up in brawl.
Lucario is the "cash in" pokemon of the game. I wouldn't mind if he co-existed with Mewtwo. but of course you know you cant have that.
In short Lucario, is too easy to use. theres virtualy no downside to choosing him.(the only downside is that he doesn't start at full power) an oft overlooked "cheap" charecter if i'm going to stoop to that level. |

i think they're both useful, definitely. now, i guess i'd use Lucario more often but that's just an opinion. |
