No, my best memory was waking up the morning of October 10th and checking the Dojo. I distinctly remember thinking "meh, probably another filler update..."
Then, I saw the banner that said "WARNING! NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHING!" I got excited when I saw that, but nothing could have prepared me for what I would see when I scrolled down.
When I saw the name "Sonic", my heart practically skipped a beat.
As I read everything, I was literally thinking "holyshitholyshitholyshitholyshit" the whole time.
Yeah...I'm just thinking of this today for no specific reason. Sonic the Hedgehog was the first game I ever played, so seeing him in SSBB was literally a dream come true. We all expected it, of course, but that didn't diminish the impact. |

Seriously. Pikmin is one of my most favorite gaming series of all time, so you can imagine the excitement.  |

Diddy was my best Dojo moment. I had wanted him in since the game was announced AND I was hoping they'd work in the popguns and rocketbarrels. When I saw both of these confirmed, I was a happy camper. <3
Sonic comes in a close second, though. |

Sonic was sort of "meh" for me. I was just happy that he was confirmed so I could laugh that day at the Gamefaqs morons who doubted his appearance.
Now...my best moment was definately the confirmation of King Dedede. I have no idea why, but I always really liked the Big N' Heavy characters, and since Wario isn't really considered as such, Dedede was the next step. He was always my favorite in Kirby 64, I'd been hoping for him every day, and when he was confirmed...well, I freaked out, then my mom came in the room and disconnected my computer for checking Brawl updates at midnight. XD

Actually, the night before October Tenth, I was lurking on Smashboards and found that they predicted that Sonic was going to be updated October Tenth. I was excited, even though I shouldn't have been.
The next day, I nearly had a heart attack.
[On a side note, whenever Sakurai releases an epic update, there's always a delay. Sonic, Sheik, etc...] |
