*Kooplen finds a nice spot and sits down to watch the battle. Gobi sits down next to him.*

Gobi: What the heck were you thinkng back there? Why didn't you blast him with your magic like you always do?

Kooplen: *leans towards Gobi* After that display, he'll probably see us as only a minor threat now, and will thus be more likely to ignore us until greater threats are dealt with. *waves his wand to summon a large tub of popcorn* Want some?
*Kooplen sticks his wand under his robes and starts making small wand movements with it.*
Gobi: Sure! *sticks his head into the tub of popcorn and pulls out a rather big mouthful.
*The glow from the wand is blocked by the thick fabric.*
Kooplen: For now, we shall simply wait for the right moment to strike.
(I'm getting tired of waiting for Mr. I to get back. Anyone got any idea of what time he is usually online?)

Gobi: *turns to Kooplen* Are you sure we should just stay here? That guy seems rather serious about him being the only one who can survive that blast.

Kooplen: I know a few things about climactic final battles such as this one. They never end that quickly. There needs to be some point in the fight where it'll seem that all is lost, and then the heroes recieve the power to win after barely managing to survive the big bad guy's powerful attacks. It's like that time that Bowser destroyed some other crazy guy. I forget what his name was though, but I've heard that he dressed like a clown and wore frilly clothes.

Gobi: So we're probably going to survive that big ball of energy then?

Kooplen: It'll probably be knocked away by some rather large attack, or some minion of the crazy guy will absorb the blast or something. *munches on a handful of popcorn*
