On the opposite shore from where Dark Ultimario stood, a swirling vortex opened up, and out hopped Paxton and a few of the Brotherhood Officers. Taking a quick look around at the surrounding land, Paxton sighed before his gaze locked on the small remaining bit of water in the Pool itself.

Ultimario came out of the vortex as well, apparently ending a frontflip. Which he landed perfectly. He then spotted the small blue dome inside what was once filled with water. He pointed to it.
"Is that one of those parts of his soul? I feel quite a bit of power coming from it..."
Dark Ultimario had apparently come upon some action right after arriving. He must have some good timing. After that thought, he teleported right over to the newcomers.
"Ah, what do we have here? Ultimario...and I think I recognize another two of you. You're the ones in that feeble resistance against Tim, right?
You really should have picked a better location. So predictable, choosing one of the only spots not taken over by him."
"We meet again, Dark...and how do you know about where the resistance's location?"
"Simple. I followed you there through that convenient little portal they made. Of course, if I hadn't been given that lead I'd have still found it very quickly."

Dark Ultimario, due to how he was created, already had a link with Tim. Both beings of negative thoughts were...connected. This allowed for easy communication between the two, especially since Tim is everywhere. Dark had received this message with ease.
He gave a psychic response to Tim, one that would be very difficult to intercept, in part due to the extremely short distance (literally: the air he's breathing is technically part of Tim).
"Excellent. So...while they're out on some quest to collect nine...things that revive somebody, we can attack their underprotected base. Just say the word, and I'll be right over to join in the bloodbath." |
