Chapter 8 – Phil
Yes, Mario knew exactly who did it. He knew it all the time but though he wasn’t sure.
Speaker: Yes, err…Mario wants to see you all on the restaurant.
They all came.
Silvia: Ok, so what is this all about?
Toodles: Shut it, Mario wants to talk.
Mario began.
Mario: Yes, I called all of you because I know who killed Huff and I can prove it.
They all look to each other.
Mario: The killer is…Toodles.
Everyone was shocked.
Toodles: Excuse me Mario? I didn’t do anything!
Mario: May I call you…Doopliss?
All: Oh!
Toodles: What!? I’m not a Duplighost. That’s ridiculous.
Suddenly a shadow came inside the restaurant.
Toodles: Hello everyone. Yes, what Mario says it’s true. That’s an impostor!
They all looked at the fake Toodles.
Doopliss: Darn it. But how!?
Mario: Well, apparently you were this kid Phil and wanted to kill me as you disguised as him. When I kicked you out of the building you went to the bathroom and found Toodles. You knocked her out and you kept her in the V.I.P closet that is the janitor’s closet. Well later you programmed the lights to turn off and then to turn on again. That gave you the alibi of being in the room as everyone else.
Doopliss: Yes it’s true. But if you had payed close attention that wasn’t even Huff. That was another duplighost disguised as Huff. We tend you this trap.
He began to laugh.
Doopliss: Didn’t we boys?
???: Yeah we totally tricked him.
???: Poor foolish Mario. So innocent.
???: Ha ha ha.
???: You suck!
Mario: Who said that!?
All???: We did.
The Koopa bros. appeared from the shadows and the fight began. |

Chapter 9 – Are you ok?
Mario: What are YOU doing here!?
Red: It’s all part of our trap Mario.
Yellow: Yeah all of it.
Mario: What are you talking about!?
Red: I’ll explain it to you. We knew Luigi was kidnapped by someone an-
Mario: So it weren’t you!?
Red: Let me finish! As I said Luigi was kidnapped by someone. That someone told us to trick you somehow…So we made this awesome plan of kidnapping the Excess Express!
Mario: What!?
Toodles: Yes, It’s true Mario. I’m sorry darling.
Suddenly Toodles transformed back into a Duplighost
Mario: WH-what!?
Everyone in the train transformed back into their true forms: Duplighosts
Mario: This can’t be!
Red: Oh yes Mario. Everything was part of our plan.
Mario: N-no! What do you want!?
Red: Oh nothing…We just wanted to make you miserable!
Black: Yeah it’s cool!
Green: After all Mario, you’re going to die anyway.
Mario turned pale.
Red: Ready guys?
All: Ready.
They knocked Mario in the floor and started to shell toss. They kicked him so hard that Mario had to spit blood. They were so strong and Mario couldn’t do anything.
??? : Are you ok?
Mario woke up and gasped. |

Chapter 10 – The little star from heaven
Mario: A-am I in heaven?
Star kid: No, but you’re safe now.
Mario looked around. He could only see a crystal ball, a white book, tons of other books in a bookshelf and a strange shadow staring at the window.
Mario: Where am I?
He started to stand slowly.
Mario: Where am I!?
???: You’re safe Mario, that’s what it matters.
Mario: Where are the Koopa Bros and those Duplighosts?
???: We rescued you Mario. We faced those evil koopas and saved you.
Mario: I demand to know, who are you?
???: It’s me Mario…Merlon.
A smile appeared on Mario’s face.
Mario: Merlon, long time no see!
Merlon: Yes, I heard about the princess. That tragedy…
Mario: I know…Hey! I need to find Luigi! Those Koopa dudes knew where he is!
Merlon: Calm down Mario, I know where he is. But it’s not going to be easy for you to get there. You’ll need my help.
Mario: Where is he!?
Merlon: He seems to be in Keelhaul Key. You’ll need a boat and help.
Mario: I can get a boat, but why do I need help?
Merlon: : Cortez is no longer friend of us. The greed…Consumed him. Apparently this enemy of ours has given him lots of money and lots of power and he’ll fight for it. He will only give the money to protect Luigi, to protect him from you Mario, so that you can’t take him away. He’s way more powerful than you now.
Mario: I’ll need help. But who?
Merlon grinned and said “Merlee”.

-Princess Peach: Killed herself with a gun in a mysterious room.
-Toadette: Shes so innocent...Is she?
-Daisy: Very sad and angry as she knew that Luigi had an affair with Peach.
-Luigi: Kidnapped by an unknown enemy. He knows who killed Peach. It seems that Luigi is in Keelhaul Key.
-Mario: Looking for clues to find Luigi.
-Merlon: The wizard helps Mario once again.
-Star Kid: Looks like a friend of Twink.
-Merlee: Something weird is happening to Merlee..I wonder what it is..
-The Koopa Bros.: They kicked Mario's butt!
-Doopliss: An actor.
-Cortez: Greed consumed him. He's no longer a friend.
-Unknown Enemy: ??? |

Chapter 11 – Merlee’s Labyrinth of doom
Mario walked silently as he entered Merlee’s Mansion.
Mario: Anybody here?
No answer.
Mario walked toward the crystal ball and stopped as he saw someone coming.
Merlee: Oh darling! I was waiting for you.
Mario: Merlee! It has been years since I last saw you.
Merlee: Uh...Yeah. Well what do you need?
Mario: I need help to beat Cortez. Merlon told me you could help me with magic.
Merlee: Oh of course but first I need you to come to my garden.
Mario: Ok.
They both went out of the building to see a huge labyrinth.
Merlee: I lost my kitty in there. Would you look for him, please?
Mario: Err…Ok.
Mario stepped inside the labyrinth and before he could tell anything to Merlee the Labyrinth was closed.
Merlee: Fool...
She whispered
Mario: Merlee!? I’m trapped! Help me!
No answer
Mario: Merlee! I know you are there!! Get me out of here!
Merlee: You’ll have to find my kitty first.
A huge “roar” was heard.
Mario: What does your kitty look like exactly?
Merlee: He’s very lovely, but be careful…He bites! |
