...I'm selling my Wii, possibly for some PS3 money. It's just been collecting dust, and I'm really not happy with the way Nintendo's doing things right now. They're targeting the casuals, and considering Nintendo made me a hardcore gamer, that's just ironic. I'm keeping my DS; I love the thing to death, and the third-party developers can actually get it right, but the Wii's not doing well at all. I tried playing Brawl earlier today to see if I could get back into it, but I couldn't. I could probably make a good amount of money selling it, so it'll be worth it in the end.
I'm giving them one last chance, though. I'll wait 'till E3, but if they don't announce something that'll make it worth keeping, it's gone. |

man dont sell you wii good games are out and coming, Metroid prime 3,mario galaxy, Zack and wiki, sonic unleashed, wario land shake, Brawl, MKWII, Wii Fit, THe new rabbids game, A Kirby game for wii has beeen announced a while ago. |

I've already played, almost beaten, and traded in MP3, I own and have beaqten Galaxy, Zack and Wiki doesn't look that good, Sonic Unleashed is coming out for all 3 systems, Wario Land Shake doesn't look good enough to keep a system I could get some good money for, I own Brawl and played the hell out of it, I don't like racing games, Wii Fit can't even be considered a game, Raving Rabbids 1 sucked balls and I've heard nothing but bad things about RR2, so the new one won't be much different, and while a new Kirby game would be cool, it's still not worth it. |

Well if your disappointed with the wii after E3 you shouldn't sell your wii, just sell the games you don't plan on playing ever again and keep the system for wiiware games and VC. |

Really, don't sell your Wii. If you don't have No More Heroes, get it, or I'll kill you. So, keep your Wii. Besides, every opther console has pretty much the same thing, multiplayer FPS galore. Don't forget the physics, blood, and occasional gore.. |

Nintendo's casual marketing mindframe has made me sick; they are focusing their console with toys like Wii Fit, instead of lengthy epics. I'll only buy a Wii in the future if something I'm interested in other than Wario Land: Shake It! appears on the console.

I disagree. The Wii doesn't have many games as epic as Bioshock, Mass Effect, or GTA4. And none of those games are focused primarily on pure multiplayer action. |

But yeah, sure. If you want to sell your Wii, go ahead.
Have in mind, thought, that what's really screwing you over is the third parties. As you saw with SPM, SMG, Brawl and maybe MKWii, the motion controls are minimal when they are meant to be minimal if Nintendo makes the game. However the third parties are always abusing the shit out of the motion-controls, when sometimes they could just opt for a more classic style of game-play.
I mostly only buy first-party games for any console I own... For me they are enough. |

I don't, probably because there's nobody to play with locally and the only online match I played was laggy as balls. If I could play Brawl competitively, I'd still be hooked. It just doesn't have the lasting appeal Melee had, though... |
