I am wondering...as many people do....how many of you have a "safe place" that you flee to when you feel down, angery, or upset. I know, that in most cases, it is the person's room.
In my case, it is anywhere that is compact, but not caustraphobic, without light, and quiet. |

I think I know what you mean by that, indeed.
I am about the same way. I am humbled when I am around friends...and a certain girl who (confessing here) I am secretly in love with but she never noticed my attempts at swooning her. *sobs* |

When I'm in my house, I usually feel safe there in general. I guess you could call me an agoraphobe, because I don't like leaving my house much.
When I'm in public, I hide in bathrooms a lot. |

I have two places.
A.) My room, tis my sacred sanctuary. No ever gets in, unless I permiss them, which is EXTREMELY rare. The only pest is Fox, and I usually run him out.
B.) MP3 player, When I have this thing, my mind loses itself. It makes me totally oblivious to all the disturbances of daily life. I usually bump into people though. |

I don't usually get angry or saddened, and the few times I do, I deal with the problem as quickly as possible. However...every once in awhile I like to travel to this certain place in the forest by my house. It's off a trail, and only I know of it. It's a beautiful clearing. Such natural abundance. It's calms my soul, and replenishes my spirits. It also helps me when I'm presented with a situation wherein the outcome is bad no mater what. I feel...happy there. Alone. A night. Under the starry sky. Alone. In the darkness...

Same :/ If I get teary or something, I just sorta take a deep breathe and force it back. But that's not really that emotionally healthy since it tends to rot in your mind leading to anger D: But I usually let my mind wander elsewhere. |
