I just watched lucky star and Zero no Tsukaima so what should i watch now.
Ive already seen Mahou sensei negima and Azumanga Daioh. If you could reaccomend an anime that would be fine |

Why can't it be a general show? Why does anime have to be separated from Western cartoons like it's somehow better? I never get these "tell me about a good anime to watch." It's like you want to watch a show just because it's anime. |

Well, yeah, you're sorta right about the porn. Anime, not-so-much, outside anime sites, and gaming sites with gamers who happen to like anime.
The point I'm trying to make is just because the characters have big, wide eyes and the animation is less fluid and has a lower framerate than American animation, doesn't make it better, or worthy of separation. I've known people who wanted to watch anime just because it's anime, and just so they can say that they're an "otaku" and "fit in" with the anime crowd.
Like it because it has fine writing or artistic qualities, not because it's anime. |

I do like it because of the writing, The storys are probably the reasons i watch most animes. In most western cartoons ive seen theres hardly anything about a story that spans over the series thats not a a one shot. Also anime tends to progress faster than western cartoons and they use slightly more violent humor that cant get past the american standards. |

You're right on everything except "anime progresses faster." Lots of anime (mostly the ones based on manga; Naruto, One Piece etc) are full of filler that doesn't progress the story at all.
It's true that most cartoons don't have continuing storylines and are just WACKY STUFF HAPPENS, but there are exceptions. Such as the one I mentioned in my previous post; Avatar. |
