After over 11 years of amazements, dissapointments, and what-ments, Toonami is ending its 11 year run. At 10:30 tonight, after Ben 10 Alien Force, be sure to catch a special message, okay? The shows will still air on Saturdays, but it will be a generic Saturday Night, no block, because Naruto don't need no stinkin block to be famous, BELIEVE IT!

We'll end up seeing those little things called "noods" in the bumpers, with representations of Naruto's Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu, Sakura punching Naruto so hard, his clothes come off, and onto the logo, and Naruto doing the Rasengan, in Nood Bumper Form.

Still, Saturday Nights are just not gonna be the same without Toonami, or are they? Are they?

Yeah, I hated the new Toonami. The old ones were way better.

Old Toonami > New Toonami

srsly, all the decent shows and animes were pon the old one man. New Toonami didn't have any *crag* Gundam, New Toonami didn't have any DBZ, New Toonami didn't barely have shit except Bo-Bo-Bo but thats it.

Well, Bird Studio never even bothered to REMAKE the DBZ Series, with New Animation, similar to Blue Dragon, so that's kinda why there's no new DBZ.

I haven't watched Toonami in years, but I watched it tonight.
This block introduced me to the idea of "action-cartoon." I don't think I would be nearly as into animation as I am if not for Toonami. It introduced me to Samurai Jack, which is THE show that made me go, "Hey, making something like that would be cool."
What I really, really wish they had done, instead of just telling us THIS MORNING that Toonami was going to end, was build up to the final broadcast, playing all the best episodes of the greatest shows they had. Hosted by Moltar, of course. Then, on the final night, they would have had a ton of throwbacks to all the events they've had over the years. "Remember Giant Robot Week? Yeah, that was awesome."

But no, all we got was "Hey, that was fun. Bang."

- Actually, it was...

"Well... this is the end, beautiful friends, after more than 11 years, THIS is Toonami's Final Broadcast. It's been a lot of fun... and we'd like to thank each and every one of you who've made this journey with us.. Toonami wouldn't have been anything without you. Hopefully we've left you with some good memories. And so, until we meet again... Stay Gold. Bang."

In a way, it ended with BOTH a bang, and a whimper. The bang from TOM, and the whimper from us, the fans.

He said "Until we meet again." I think they're doing SOMETHING with all of those robots. Idk what, though. I also liked how he said "Stay gold."

Agreed with Kobold, although I never really watched it that much.

Yeah, I wasn't speaking literally. My point is the ending sucked. Toonami may have really gone downhill in the last couple of years, but it deserved a better sendoff than that.

The only time I ever watched Toonami was when I occasionally watched Naruto. But you guys are right; the shows that used to be on there don't need a special thing to be epic. They're already epic.
I remember Toonami back when it was a daily thing every weekday afternoon. At the time, the only show I watched on it was ReBoot. (This was about seven or eight years ago, probably before Naruto even aired in the US.)
And uh, WHAT did you say those creature things are called? Are you talking about the ones that sorta resemble a generic character form, and the only way to tell them apart is by the colors they're wearing, which can be knocked off at anytime... Those things are weird sometimes. But there are a couple of good ones, like Kevin punching a DNAlien right into Zak Saturday, or Chowder and Flapjack colliding and switching hats... One of the bumpers that fails is basically all the ones for Total Drama Island. I sorta like the show, but the characters just don't look right in "nood" form.

Toonami was awesome when Dragonball Z was still on. Of course, I don't care much; I only watch Adult Swim now. Occasionally.
