Okay, recently, I've been getting tons of popups that open in new windows without warning. They open in internet explorer, and open randomly, even if I'm not on the internet in any way shape or form. They come about evey ten minutes, and they accumulate, as yesterday when I was doing homework for about half an hour, there where three when I got back. They're mostly ads for crappy products, and dating, and I am begining to get kinda pissed at them, because they're making my computer move really slow when they are there. D: |

That usually spyware (I think), so a virus and spyware check is recommended... If you don't have a spyware checker yet, try Spyware Doctor. |

Try reformatting your hard drive. That'll get rid of it. |

Pop-ups are ususally less Spyware (Which, well, SPIES on you, duh) but Adware and viruses, if not a bunch of nasties downloaded by a pre-existing trojan.
Complete Scan. Download a trial of Kaspersky, or something. Or get Avira. |

Something like this happened with my laptop.
But 5 pop-ups would come every 30 seconds.
My laptop crashed within a week and now its in the trash. |

Reformatting would totally delete all data on your hard drive.

SPAH'S SAPPIN' YAH COMPUTER.
Get a free trial of Kaspersky; that should clean it up. Or a free virus scanner, like Avira.
Also, get Spybot S&D, etc. |

Google Toolbar usually automatically blocks popups. If you already have that, then I'm lost. |

We've already explained that it was adware.
We've already told you how to get rid of it. |
