Luigi hummed to himself as he strolled out of Toad Town, on his way to visit Koopa Village and hear more thrilling tales of Kolorado and Kooper's adventures. He didn't miss a beat in his song as he jumped down some stair-shaped terrain, descending onto the path that would take him straight to the village.
"Eh... What's that?"
Luigi gave a small gasp and drew back, shaking. Just a little. The path to Koopa Village was blocked by a shimmering purple veil. Anything could happen if he got too close... He didn't want to risk it. Yet it looked so familiar... |

Luigi looked closer at the strange veil. Lightning rippled across its surface every few seconds. It looked like... Subspace! Luigi took several more steps back, startled. All of the Subspace was supposed to have been destroyed with Tabuu and his army... |

Pikachu could often be seen strolling along the streets and paths of the Mushroom Kingdom. After the whole Tabuu incident, he had been visiting the homelands of his fellow Smashers on a regular basis. This had been a bad day. Pikachu had been staring at the subspace for a bit, and he was not far from where Luigi and the Mushroomer were standing.

Behind the thin veil of Subspace, the embodiment of this strange matter, Tabuu, hovers very still. He is gazing at the figures that stare at him from the other side, as though from the see-through end of a one-way mirror. His body glows very faintly; he is weak.

King Bowser Koopa flies through the sky in his Koopa Clown Car. He has been searching for any other remnants of the Subspace Commander, Tabuu, like the energy he had found at Final Destination. Now, at long last, he spies a new sign below: a thin veil of what appears to be Subspace. Bowser makes a very ugly scowl as he stares at it. He was right, after all... |
