All righty. Well, Popple beat me to the punch, but I have something a bit different here. I'm going to list Nintendo-only systems, starting from the Nintendo 64 (since I didn't start gaming until the N64 days) to the Wii, and from the Game Boy to the DS. These are lists of games that you had better own, or have at least played at one point in your life. I've played all, and own about 98% of the games I'm going to list, and it shall be a long, long list. Be prepared, as there are some games you wouldn't expect... I'll be updating it every so often, and adding new systems (once my hands recover from typing the previous one).

NINTENDO 64
Banjo-Kazooie: An obvious choice. Rare redefined the meaning of awesome with this title, and it brought a whole new concept of platform gaming with it. It's a masterpiece.

Banjo-Tooie: Everything that the first game had, but better. Banjo-Tooie was bigger, better, and just plain badass.

Beetle Adventure Racing: The only racing game I own that has actual cars in it. This game is a treat to play. A bunch of lengthy tracks, riddled with alternate paths and secret area that sometimes only the best of the best can get to. Tons of unlockable cars. And the battle mode, Beetle Battle, is kickass.

Bomberman 64: Something about this game just makes me tingly on the inside. It's a great Bomberman experience, with epic boss battles and some interesting characters.

Bomberman Hero: Bomberman can jump. Yes. And he has special vehicles to help him out. Dropping bombs from a helicopter attached to Bomberman's head never felt so fun.

Conker's Bad Fur Day: Another one of Rare's most awesome games. Bad Fur Day really pushed the N64's graphics... and maturity... to the next level. Solid gameplay, hilarious characters, and a plot that will make you want to play it all again really put this game in the top N64 games.

Diddy Kong Racing: Wow, what do you know, it's another Rare game. Only this time, they're racing. But, it's a racing game... with a plot. Yes, only Rare could make these two things work so well together. Also, Conker isn't a badass. He has a high-pitched voice and is completely hyper.

Donkey Kong 64: Wait, what? ANOTHER Rare game? Surely they're slippin up by now, right? Of cour- Holy shit, this game is amazing. Rare has yet to fail us, with yet another awesome game... This time, following DK and his family/friends through their adventure to save DK Island from K. Rool's evil mechanical tower of doom. Simply amazing.

Gex 64: Enter the Gecko: Wait, how the hell did this get in here? Let me tell you. Sure, it might seem crappy, or just lame, but this game is actually really, really addicting. Join Gex, the secret agent Gecko, on a journey through TV stations to ultimately destroy a mad robotic genius from taking control of TVs everywhere. Yeah, it's awesome, and the parodies of common movie genres is awesome.

Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko: Oh no, another one? Yep. This one is pretty epic as well. A roman empire, a gangster city, and... what? A cyberpunk anime?! These and many other genres can be found in the TVs throughout this once again addicting game.

007: Goldeneye: Great game, and it had some of the best multiplayer action for an N64 FPS. I can't go much more in detail, as my friend owned it, and I played it religiously at his house for a good few weeks.

Harvest Moon 64: Holy shit, you can't live without this. Easily one of the best Harvest Moons even in today's standards. Well put together, fun, addicting, and it didn't get too old too fast. I loved it, and it brought a new genre into my gaming life.

Hey You, Pikachu!: All right, so this game is different, and a lot of people thought it was dumb. Well, truth is, it is dumb. But, the intereactivity between the player and Pikachu is amazingly put together really well. He understands you fairly well, and sometimes he'll revolt and shock you. It's just a cute little game that is great for some chill time.

Jet Force Gemini: What's that logo I see? Oh it's only... Rare again... Did they let us down yet? Let's see... Noooooope. This game was so awesome. I wasn't big on shooters until I stumbled upon this, and my, my, my... I wasn't disappointed. Jet Force Gemini has a rather interesting plot, and loads of action. Well worth the amount of money it was worth back in the day.

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards: Sadly, this was the last Dream Land game we'd see until, well, even now. Kirby 64 was a work of art... A genius twist of action, beauty, and bosses with bleeding eyes. This is my personal favorite Kirby game, as I've always favored the Dream Land sub-series over the Super Star sub-series. The music really got me, as well. It was the first game that I actually went into Sound Test and listened to songs from the game for sheer entertainment.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: Yes. Ganon is my favorite boss ever.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask: Ocarina's darker, more ominous, more twisted brother. Hell, I liked it more than it's predecessor. It's really nerve-racking at times. This game is INTENSE, and it will always stay that way. Also, sidequests. The game is basically 95% sidequests. And this is why it's so much more awesome than almost any other console Zelda game.

Mario Kart 64: It's Mario Kart... The most awesome Mario-themed racing game around. Although, the ONLY thing that I've always kinda had a problem with was the 2D character models. Other than that, the game was totally epic.

Megaman 64: Probably the last good Megaman game (maybe besides 9). Yep. Even though it was co-released on the PS2, I like the N64 one better. Not much to say besides: this game was an orgasm at the final boss.

Paper Mario: Oh, my. This was the first Mario RPG I played, and Jesus, I loved it. Sadly, I only rented it and never found a copy to buy. This game really showed what you can do when you put your mind to the task at hand. It had a great battle system, unique twists on gameplay, and was just an overall joy to play.

Perfect Dark: Oh, what a surprise. Another Rare game. This time, taking first-person shooters to the next level. Full of action, violence, and Rare-ness, this game was awesome to play.

Pokemon Snap: Wow. Just wow. I never knew taking pictures of wildlife would be so much fun. World, meet my camera, because I'm not stopping until I take a picture of every last Pokemon on this planet. It was a truly awesome game. A unique twist on the Pokemon franchise that worked excellently.

Pokemon Stadium 1 &2: Chunked into the same title, because they are essentially the same game. 2 had updated graphics and more Pokemon to choose from, as well as some bonuses. Both let you play the Pokemon GBA games on your TV screen with the GB Tower (I think that's what it's called) option. Fun multiplayer, and importing your Game Boy parties to battle was a true treat.

Quest 64: My first RPG. And a really epic one, at that. Quest took you on a strange and extremely difficult journey through the world as a young boy set on taking down a family enemy. The battle system was extremely unique, and it really got me into the genre. I still haven't beaten it.

Star Fox 64: The best Star Fox to date. It was awesome, and the graphics, for the time it came out, were extremely high-quality. I'ev never played through a game as many times as this. So many different paths, stories, and two endings that differ greatly. Damn, this is a kickass game.

Super Mario 64: Basically the flagship title of the N64. Yeah, it was amazing.

Super Smash Bros.: Do I have to say anything?

Yoshi's Story: I love this game. It looks like it's straight out of a story book. I still haven't unlocked all the levels... >_> The bosses were quirky and entertaining, and finding all the secrets is so fun.

GAME CUBE
Animal Crossing: The only TRULY awesome Animal Crossing game. For the first time in my life, I was immersed into the most addicting life simulation game I've ever played. Take a break from real life and do some chores for neighboring animals. Ahhhh, that's the life.

Cel Damage: All right, it's not a Game Cube exclusive, but it's one hell of a multiplayer experience. The cel shading is great, and it looks like it's straight out of a horrifically violent Saturday morning cartoon. It's played out as a reality TV show, with all kinds of wacky characters and weapons like you wouldn't believe. Think Mario Kart + deathmatch + weapons of war + weapons of cartoons + awesome.

Chibi Robo: Not a lot of people actually realize that this game is one of the Game Cube's most well-kept secrets. Awesome gameplay, and a story you can only perceive if you play through the game. Take on the roll of Chibi Robo, a 2-inch high miniature robot, and help out around the house to better family life for your human companions.

Custom Robo: Another "robo" game. Well, quite the opposite of the previous game. Customize your robo to make it super-strong as you dive deep into a thick and dark plot revolving around a rogue robo hellbent on creating madness and chaos.

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat: Such an awesome adventure, utilizing the DK bongos rather well. It's visuals are great. Amazing fur effects, and the roundness of everything was astonishing.

Evolution Worlds: Based on the games Evolution 1 & 2, it's a great turn-based RPG that will have you sucked into the story and wanting more for the rest of the game.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Easily the most underrated non-linear Final Fantasy game. Ever. One of my personal Game Cube favorites, this game takes place in an alternate world comprised of four races: Clavat, Yuke, Lilty, and Selki, and the gaseous poison that is overflowing the world: Miasma. Fight through awesome dungeons and take down epic bosses in this amazing game. Multiplayer is *crag* hard as hell to set up, though (4 GBAs, and 4 GBA-GC link cables).

Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life: The Game Cube's first Harvest Moon game. It's a cute and charming tale of a young lad in Forget Me Not Valley. You'll meet some very entertaining characters as the years go by. Some events that take place are off-the-wall, while others can be just downright sad/depressing. The characters are lively, and you have a choice of some wonderful wives. It's a relaxing and entertaining experience for anyone.

Kirby Air Ride: Another highly underrated game. Sure, there may be only 8 (or was it 6?) tracks, but City Trial and the mission system really make up for it. Power-ups, the abilities, enemies, and intense action make this game an awesome experience for anyone.

The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition: Zelda 1, 2, Ocarina, and Majora's Mask all wrapped up into one. Okay, perhaps you've played all 4 before, but being able to relive them all again on the Game Cube is a really nice experience. And if you never got to play them originally, then hell, play them.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Master Quest: If you happen to be an Ocarina-tard, like me, then this is for you. But wait, didn't you just say the collector's edition already had Ocarina, plus 3 other games? Yes, I did. However, there's another version of this masterpiece: Master Quest. It's a more challenging, completely reworked version of Ocarina. The dungeons have been completely remixed for an awesome twist on the original's challenges. There's a good side, however. Since the Water Temple is remixed, it seemed easier. Thank God.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker: My favorite home system Zelda game. It took a turn for the toon, and I must say, the style worked. A lot of people were disappointed by this game. How? Okay, you might sail a lot. Well, I'm a fan of pirate-themed things, so this game was like a screaming orgasm for me to play. I love it, and still play it. The plot isn't just "save Zelda", there are multiple twists and turns, and you really don't know what to expect next.

Luigi's Mansion: One of the Game Cube's launch titles, and still one of the best on the system. It took the Mario genre, twisted it up, made it darker and spookier, and then threw Luigi in as the hero. Just walking around and pressing the A-button was enough to make me to fall in love with this game. "M-m-m-Marioooo?"

Mario Kart: Double Dash!!: The most fun I've ever had playing Mario Kart. A kart with two racers, switching out for strategic chaos and crazy antics make Double Dash!! a necessity for any Game Cube owner.

Mario Party 5: Wow, this is the first Mario Party game I've listed so far. Well, I have a good reason. Not only is this my favorite Mario Party game, but it has a robot battle mode, and YOU get to create the machines of doom. Oh, and the minigames were some of the most fun in any Mario Party, and the maps were very entertaining.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes: Yes. The remake of MGS with the gameplay of MGS2. It's an awesome game, and you'll want to scream "OH MY GOD METAL GEAR!" all over again.

Metroid Prime: Best FPS on the Game Cube. Nice puzzles, a great amounts of action, and a wide variety of enemies and whatnot. Gotta play it if you want a good shooter.

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes: See above, add in more stuff, plus multiplayer. It's just epic. I wuv it, and I'm sure you will to if you decide to play it, you lazy bastards.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door: My personal favorite out of the Paper Mario series. Great characters, a thick plot, and all kinds of wacky adventures await Mario in this magical game. If you haven't played this, you need to buy it. Now.

Pikmin: To me, this game can get PRETTY *crag* HARD. Olimar crashes. He needs his spaceship parts. The Pikmin help him. You have 30 days, lasting 10 minutes each. Fail a day, and the Pimkin left outside get eaten. Fail the game, And you're screwed. Good luck.

Pikmin 2: It's better than the first. It seems a lot more laid-back to me. There are awesome boss fights as well. Good luck finding it, though. It's tough to get your hands on it.

Resident Evil 4: ...On it's home system. This is, by far, Capcom's best Resident Evil game (5's just copying... >_>). The story was great, the graphics were heavenly, and it's just an all-out adventure. Buy it, rent it, pirate it... Do whatever you can to play this.

Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut: Loads of fun, and the final boss is one of the most epic bosses you'll ever see. And, oh yeah, it doesn't suck.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: Shadow get's involved. If the ending was actually how it seemed to be, it would have made Sonic's future a bit better. Anyway, this game is sweet, and the bosses are fun. Some parts can get tedious, but it's well worth it in the end. Oh, and Chao karate.

Soul Calibur 2: Well, three different versions came out, and this one easily has the best extra character: Link. Yes, Link. He's awesomely awesome, and he kicks serious ass when used. This version of the game is my favorite because of Link. Link. Link. He's epic. Gah, I needa go play this again.

Star Fox Adventures: Guess what? I loved it. A lot of people don't like it, but I think Rare did a great job making Starfox into an action game. The plot was great, the music was beautiful, and the visuals were simply stunning. So what if it wasn't flying around and shooting 100% of the time? It's still great to see that Rare made this switch from the norm.

Star Fox Assault: Well, they got the shooting part down this time. Namco took over the scene with this fast-paced adventure. I liked the balance of Arwing, Landmaster, and on-foot action. It wasn't that bad of a game if you actually play it. Don't judge before you take a bite out of the sandwich. Yeah, I made that up.

Super Mario Sunshine: Mario's big Game Cube adventure. Huzzah! It's lots of fun, and the F.L.U.D.D. feature really gave it a nice twist. Colorful levels, beautiful visuals, hilarious situations... And some tasks that are just DIFFICULT AS *crag*. Play it. Love it. F.L.U.D.D. it.

Super Smash Bros. Melee: Probably the best Smash Bros. game. It's faster-paced, the visuals seem better than Brawl's, actually. I love it very much so. And once again: OWN THIS DAMN GAME.

Tales of Symphonia: Ah, where to begin... One of the best RPGs on the system, by far. Long, tedious, and exciting, Tales really delivers when it comes to depth. It's a wonderful experience every RPG-lover should go through. It's such a great game.

I played over half of these, and most of them are indeed pretty fun. Except Pokemon Snap, that bored me half to death. Sad

I've played all of those. It makes me sad that as Nintendo's consoles have evolved, they're getting less and less great titles...

I've played most of those. I agree with Goron Mask, though, Snap bored the hell out of me.

Harvest Moon 64 was pretty good, probably in the top 5 harvest moon games of all time. ( Not first though, that's for sure. ) There are a lot of things I didn't like about that game though, and I'm a HMtard. :(

I thought it said "Superman 64" after Banjo. Neutral

This list is agreeable indeed, except for Hey You Pikachu, because the voice recognition really sucked. PIKACHU holds SWEET POTATO up to you. Do you want him to call MAGNEMITE? "Yes." PIKACHU throws SWEET POTATO away!

I thought Bomberman 64 sucked quite honestly.

And I believe you are forgetting the excellent Megaman Zero and Megaman Battle Network franchises sir, for they defined a generation of Megaman players.

That's why I said he understands you *fairly* well. Actually, I've never had a huge problem with the voice recognition.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinions.

Although when I don't include any of the Battle Network games in my list of GBA games... don't be surprised.
