In communism, there is no central government and no class system. The working man owns all. He has the ultimate power. However, in socialism, a government controls all business. The working man has no choice, and is therefore powerless. There are classes in socialism. I would love to see arguments against this. |

How do you argue whether a rock is not a rock? |

| It is perfectly possible for a branch to be an opposite. |

We mean conceptual branches, and I'm sure you're able to see that. And Jelly beans are clearly not the opposite of Maple. |

And Jelly beans are clearly not the opposite of Maple. | Well to be the complete opposite of something it has to be different in every single way, it cant even exist on the same dimensional plane. So for Communism to be the complete opposite of Socialism one would have to be a physical thing while the other was just an idea |

You CXers and your lack of logic.
That is impossible, first of all. Since it is impossible to compare two things to each other if they were on complete different levels. This means that it's impossible for opposites to exist. Now, this means that you can't say opposites exist, either. Meaning that good, evil, hot, or cold exist.
Also: Opposites =/= complete opposites.
I'm sure you have noticed by now, but absolutes are completely and utterly impossible.
And for concepts, that's impossible. Why is socialism often regarded as the opposite of capitalism, then? |

So opposites dont exist so then theyres no such thing as socialism and communsim, just figments of my imagination |

Are you debating for the sake of debate, now? |

How can something that is already real become a figment of my imagination?
And said object isn't tangible, either. |
