Paper Peach walked in, looking the same as always apart from her sad expression. She still had the white gloves, the brown shoes, the overalls, and the green shirt, but something still seemed to be missing.
She looked around the foyer of the fort and heaved a sigh. So much had happened in her life the past few months, and she wondered if she could still find any speck of home here in this place. Was there any familiarity left? Or would her hopes be crushed to leave her with only her memories.
She sighed once more, adjusting he bag on her shoulder and closing the door. The sound of it shutting echoed across the empty hall. Perhaps there really wasn't anyone here, or maybe no one remembered her, or cared that she was back. She bit her tongue to hold back the tears. Memories were all that she had left of anything now.....
SHe took a deep breath and stared up the central staircase. How many times had she fell down them after tripping over her own feet? How many times had she sprinted up them, taking the steps 4 at a time? And how many times had she sent people rolling down them after being frying pan'd? The memories were coming back, and with them, a little hope. But it would take more than that to restore her to her old self. Much, much more.... |

Peach sighed again, and looked up, a cloaked figure tumbled down the stairs towards her. The figure hit her and carried her down with it until she finally stopped, sliding across the floor.

yet. "What's going on in... What the." he said, surprised to see Vaati lying
on the floor |

Vaati got up muttering to himself as he used a healing spell on him and the one that also fell down the stairs.
"When I find the one responsible for pushing me down the stairs I am going make his life a living nightmare." |
