The only thing I'd do differently (other than the hands which I am totally not mentioning) is the transition from white to black. The black and white surrounding the character has no transition, while the background has a gradient. I can't really say which I prefer, but I think it would look better if both were done the same way.
That's a pretty small nitpick, though. |

The arms seem a little awkwardly proportioned, but it's not that bad.
The hair is textured well, but it seems a little 2D and doesn't match the rest of the shading.
She looks sad. :[ Can I give her a hug? |
