(Somewhat out of RP mode --
I have some ideas of how we could work this, as a little forum-minigame type dealie... tell me yay or nay.
People can post their teams here, like they've been doing, and I'll save them to a little roster in a Word document thingie.
To reserve a match, the person who wants to enter one of their teams can PM me, and I'll PM them back with who they're going to fight and the battle condition (ie no jumping, use a special move).
Then I'll go to this thread, and introduce the battlers for the fight. The two battlers should come to this thread and play out their RP battle.
- To avoid godmoding, you should only be able to dodge 1 out of every 2 attacks. Also, there shouldn't be any OHKO-ing.
- Each battle should be... maybe 6 posts long? And whoever has the upper hand after those six posts wins? To keep them from dragging on and on as people repeatedly revive their characters. :X
When that's done I'll make a post stating who wins.
Fight fans should also be encouraged to post in the midst of a battle, to cheer on their favorite fighter and perhaps throw some items into the fray. These posts won't count towards the six.
I'll keep another Word document with rankings in it, so that when someone registers for a fight, they'll fight the person with the ranking above theirs and change their ranking based on if they win and meet the conditions (just like in TTYD.)
Then I should make another thread, maybe in Off-Topic?, that lists what the rankings are at the current moment, and I'll update it every day ('cause I'm a fat nerd like that, who's online all the time. :X)
And I'll make a lame little Champions Belt graphic in MS paint, that whoever the current champion is can put in their signature or something. (Can pictures go in a signature? o_O)
(Edit - *looks at ? Block's sig right above me* guess so.)
So... opinions? Is it rude of me to just barge in on the forum and set up something? @_@ If so I apologize... anyway, good idea or no?) |

Larry begins breathing fireballs in Rawk Hawk's direction. Some hit, dealing nice damage to the Rawk. |
