Some may disagree, but I think this is a great fighting series and it is currently my favorite. 3 was definitely the worst in the series, but hey I'm still playing 2 so who cares? Currently I've been playing Team Battle with my friends switching controllers when our selected character dies and it turns out to be a lot more fun than the actual VS. As for our team I play as Yoshimutsu and my friends play as Nightmare and Link (GC version FRW.) I'm really excited about 4 since it supposed to be really good and it has online. So, does anyone else like this series?

Not really, but then again Smash isn't really a traditional fighting game. Smash is really it's own genre, as for classic #D fighters Soul Calibur reigns supreme....I really want to play it now.
Hopefully 4 has something as awesome as weapon master mode. |

I only played 2, but it's definately one of the best fighting game franchises. (2nd to Smash Bros.) |

I heard the single player was really bad though, no where near as good as 2's. |

Yeah, it's single player wasn't as good, but it was still enjoyable. |

I loved the 'create a fighterr' setup in SC3, but it could had used some work.
Also, in SC3, some of the character designs were just... wrong.
Like Taki with a mask.

I have it for the Gamecube, really fun but since I never can hold the combos in my memory it is mostly button mashing for me. |

Actually I think there was something like it in 3. It's called Soul Arena in that game or something like that. |
