You guys are clueless, you can spin jump even when you're sliding down.
Get Mario/Luigi sliding in the sitting position and jump the direction you're sliding in to be able to spin jump, once you spin in Air hold back to fall back in the direction you want to go which would be up the Tree.
Once you land and start sliding again hold forward, quickly jump, then spin, hold back, and just keep repeating.
Please look into something *in this case the Glitch* before accusing someone of Cheating. |

If you slide on the butts, you can do it.
But if you slide on the belly, NOW it's impossible.
