Well, after 27 days, here we are. There's no more voting; everything has been decided. But before the champion is announced, let's take a look at the previous days:
On day 1, Castle / Boss Fortress (Super Mario World / SMB 3) defeated the rest of the Mario songs.
On day 2, Luigi's Mansion Theme was the victor out of all the Mario spinoff songs.
On day 3, Team Galactic Battle! came out on top of all the other Pokemon songs.
On day 4, Title (The Legend of Zelda) managed to beat out the rest of The Legend of Zelda's music.
On day 5, Bramble Blast took the rest of the Donkey Kong music by storm.
On day 6, Gourmet Race triumphed over all other Kirby songs.
On day 7, Vs. Ridley ripped the rest of the Metroid songs to shreds.
On day 8, Corneria beat out the rest of the Star Fox songs.
On day 9, Attack attacked the rest of the Fire Emblem songs and won.
On day 10, You Call This a Utopia?! did indeed call this a utopia and drove off the rest of the Mother songs.
On day 11, Mute City absolutely decimated the rest of the F-Zero songs.
On day 12, Stage Clear / Title (Pikmin) triumphed over the rest of the Pikmin songs.
On day 13, Obstacle Course reached the finish line before the rest of the Yoshi songs.
On day 14, WarioWare, Inc. Medley cleared all the microgames and beat the rest of the WarioWare music.
On day 15, Go K.K. Rider! heroically defeated the rest of the Animal Crossing songs.
On day 16, Underworld declared to the Great Palutena that victory was theirs over the rest of the Kid Icarus songs.
On day 17, Encounter showed the rest of the Metal Gear songs who was (Big) Boss.
On day 18, Shin Onigashima rocked the rest of the classic songs to defeat.
On day 19, Battle Scene / Final Boss (Golden Sun) slew the rest of the miscellaneous songs.
On day 20, the Boss Battle gave the rest of the Super Smash Bros. songs a game over without enough coins to continue.
On day 21, Castle / Boss Fortress (Super Mario World / SMB 3) moved on to the semifinals.
On day 22, Luigi's Mansion Theme moved on to the semifinals.
On day 23, Mute City moved on to the semifinals.
On day 24, Title (The Legend of Zelda) moved on to the semifinals.
On day 25, Castle / Boss Fortress (Super Mario World / SMB 3) defeated Mute City and moved on to the finals.
On day 26, Luigi's Mansion Theme triumphed over Title (The Legend of Zelda) and moved on to the finals.
And on day 27, those two songs faced off.

As I always say, matchups can win people tournaments. The biggest example is many filler votes due to lack of option.
And basically, polls don't rate which is the best song, but only the most liked one. And this one was it; I do like it, but not over some other songs. Too bad some of my real favorites can't get in the polls for being original.
And personally I hoped for Victory Road to win, too. >.> |

I really think there were a lot of songs better then the winner, You call This a Utopia is one of the best in my opinion, Squeak Squad was a good one, and the Team Galactic Battle... The list goes on and on, but I'm just agreeing with everyone else here. |
