Not really. Ever heard of the Pencil Tool, the Shape Tool, the Grid? All of the Blend Modes?
Lemme guess: The only reason you say Paint is more precise is that you're too cheap to buy Photoshop. |

I like paint, you like Photoshop. We have different opinions. You're better with Photoshop, and I'm better with Paint. I've used paint for almost my whole life, and I can do pretty much anything on it. |

No, I have tons of Photoshops, I just like Paint. I use Photoshop occasionally, though. D: |

I found this out, if you do the gradient instruction normally, but instead change the "Vertical" variable to 1%, you instead get a vertical gradient, like this:
