Alright, you have my appologies. I've lived a very twisted life and took that as an insult rather than a learning experience, Larry. Thank you for...well, basically taking my unfounded point and smearing it in my face with barbed wire, Baby Peach. I needed that.
I suppose, the fact of the matter is, I'm just despirate. I have ongoing issues with superiority and inferiority, intelligence and wisdom, and...yeesh, sorry I had to make such an obnoxious comment.
But, getting back on-topic, love is derived from the necessity to mate. That was human nature, before we created more. Before we felt more from it. Before it became a part of us that never will go away. And yet, we struggle to grasp this concept, even if neanderthals could. Love is simply pure. That's all there is to it, purity. Lust and romantic desires, no matter how enticing, entertaining, or sexually tempting, are not pure. It's the unbreakable bond, that is pure, that is caring, that is love.
And yeah, it's a rehash of what's already been said. >_> |

Naturally, I am a teen now. But I don't act like one, because I wasn't raised to be an ordinary kid.

Crude, yes, true, yes again.
With love involves jealousy. At least everyone here has had at least been jealous over the fact their crush is dating some other guy. The same might even go for your crush dating your best friend. Jealousy is something we cannot control, sadly.
Love is also hard-to-get. At least everyone here might have also been rejected in one way or another because of love. Some people just don't seem to agree on what their own opinion of love is. Most people also probably don't have the courage to say it only to realize later in their life they should have.
Lastly, love sure doesn't share itself with the world. If love did indeed do that, we'd have world peace. This also brings up an old discussion we had here about achieving world peace. It's impossible because some people always feel greed/jealousy over another. Same goes for love. Love just isn't there. It comes to you and not easy to obtain. |

Love could be described as a wonderful thng. I could go on and on about how peachy being in love, in "true" love can be.
However, I won't, because it IS NOT a wonderful thing.
Love is, in reality, a horrid state of mind. A mental disease almost.
That you would give up your own life for another? That's pathetic.
More often than not, love is one sided. One person is sick in the head, and the other is using this to their advantage. It's s sates where one person is the puppet, and the other is the puppeteer, using the other to their advantage, and for their own malicious purposes.
Of course, I could continue, but I'll just be shot again. This will probably just get me flamed for RP'ing, though I am not.

Whoever raised you (parents or other relitives) FED you when you were a baby. You couldn't feed yourself. You couldn't change your diaper, you couldn't do anything because you are a BABY. Your Parents (or whoever raises/raised you) cares for you and loves you that is why they feed you. If they DIDN'T love you, they probably wouldnt feed you and you would be dead. Love is something that everyone has. Even if you don't think so. |

Love as in your spouse or otherwise, is simply you finding you counterpart in another. You are one puzzle piece and they are another. Cheesy but true.
Love as in a deep friendship is simply you caring very much for another person, you would be very upset if they were to hurt you, or be hurt etc. They are just a companion that you can confide in and trust. |
