Technically, it is. You saw a game's shot head, on a game's shot body.
He took the head off normal,
put it on the body of liquid,
did a bit of recolloring using photoshop,
vualla.
I don't know how Photoshop works, but when I think about it, it doesn't really sound THAT holy. Forgive me if I'm wrong. |

First I went over Liquids clothing, and removed his long hair from the vest and trenchcoat. Then I took apart Ocelot's face bit by bit, reconfiguring it to fit Liquid's.
After that, I distorted all of the pieces to match the direction Liquid was facing. Then I modified the colors to fit, and removed all of the wrinkles from the hands, and what was left of Liquid's face. Then I cropped the Beret, redid that slightly, and made it to fit. Then I recolored the clothing, using the same values for each red as the beret.
And after THAT, I did all of the little details such as Liquid's ID on the front of his trenchcoat. I also fixed the hair, ears, and hands.
It may not seem complicated, but keep in mind I'm working on an image that's well over 400x1000. It actually took an hour after I completed it to fix all of the flaws and make it seem perfect. Add it up with the time I spent actually making it, and you're looking at a 4 hour project. |

The only thing that bothers me is the colour of the face. It just looks really unatural. BUT, I do give you props for turning a sharp picture, into a nice smooth picture. ( Talking about the head. ) |
