I think more areas/people from Mario RPGs should be brought back for more Mario games. Places like the Forest Maze, The whole Beanbean Kingdom & The Beanish people, Glitzville, the X-Nauts and the Shroobs, and all/a lot of the enemies from The Beanbean Kingdom, the Shroob race, Super Mario RPG, The Paper Mario series, and more. |
Of course you can't re-introduce them all at once, or we'd end up in the same position as the Sonic series. Too many characters, not enough characterization aside from the shiny new characters (or, in this case, old).
Now, if they introduced them slowly, hinting toward a game that would include every kingdom, that would definitely be interesting. Kind of like a Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal approach, but more Mario-like, you know?
Actually, I might as well compare that to Super Paper Mario. Except with old places instead of other dimensions. | NO WAY about the all in one game thing at the start of that. That would be crap. But I do like your idea in the rest of the post.
NOTICE: Also, I don't mean a revisit in, like, the next Mario game, I mean EVENTUALLY. In 1 year or 10 years. Doesn't matter when. |
