The Reconstructed Caribou just kicked my ass. I don't think fighting it with no healing items, a half-dead Flint and a 1-HP Boney was a terribly good idea though. |

Why was Miss Marshmallow so hard? I ended up having everyone dead but Lucas, and used Lifeup beta after 3 turns, attack 3 times, lifeup, attack, etc. |

If you have to fight a boss in the same room you can heal, then the boss isn't going to be easy.
Now I have to decide whether I like MOTHER 3 better than MOTHER 1 or whether I like MOTHER 1 better than MOTHER 3. MOTHER 2 can just go in a corner and be my least favorite of the series. |

Just be sure to keep your HP high enough to be ready for the Oh-So-Snake's tidal waves whenever it's above the surface. If you've saved your attack items (like Thunder Bombs and such), use all of them in this fight. Boney, of course, is the best one to do this, since he's so fast. He should also be holding your best healing items. Maybe try using some status effect skills, too, right when the battle first starts, like Duster's Scary Mask and Tickle Stick. Stacking something like Scary Mask a couple of times can really help.
That's all I can think of at the moment. You'll get him eventually. :] |

Thanks for the help, but I used up all my Thunder Bombs.
Also, how do you get Boney? I thought the only party you could have at that time was Duster, Kumatora, and Wess.
Bah, I might as well just start the chapter over again. |

Yeah, that's what I thought.
I looked at starmen.net's walkthrough a couple of times when I got stuck, and it never mentioned Boney.
Do you encounter the Oh-So-Snake in another castle with Kumatora and Boney in your party at some other point in the game? |

I don't know where you're getting the 'Oh-So-Snake and Boney' thing from, but, to my knowledge, they never meet/battle. |

Anyway, try lowering his offence as much as possible to make healing easier, then begin to lower his defence after a while. It should make things a little easier. |
