I've found that using Luigi and Cudge works well, too. |

I actually didn't do too well with Bowser and Carrie in the later rounds. Mainly because of the Guys with a ranged attack. I was more successful with Peach and Cudge, but I guess your milage may vary.
Bullet Bull was my favorite, because I couldn't stop laughing after his closing comments. |

Been a while since I played the entire Duel of 100 (did it on first game file, second is in Castle Bleck 8-4, and last one (playing now) is right before Chapter 6-0 (the empty level)), but my favorites are Action Commander, Software Pirate, Footsteps of Coins, Hairy Arantula in the Grass, End Boss, and Koopa in Winter. I just liked the fighting overall, but it's kinda a bit of fail that, once you beat it, you can't go back and do it again. But I ROFL'd when King Sammer said he might try 100 kitty robots next. There's a great YTP about that scene, but I can't remember what it was. Bowser and Carrie are great for this chapter. And for the Flip-Enabled Sammer Guys, just position Bowser near where the opponent flipped, then lay down the fire. Soon as he flips back, he gets owned. Also great to put fire breath under a high-leaping Sammer Guys, and then he roasts himself upon landing. But you should switch to Mario and Barry for the tiny Sammer Guys, or use an item that attacks all enemies onscreen. And I just realized that the fight music from the duel is playing right now on my computer. Was playing the Sammer's Kingdom theme, but it's kinda hard to do homework with that track playing. Like superjumping upside a Frost Pirahna's head in Chapter 7-1? *realizes something stupid* Oh wait, you're talking about whacking him with Cudge. But it you're using Cudge, couldn't it be ANY of the heroes? Besides, Bowser has double ATK bonus. But then again, Tiny Sammer Guys only have 1 HP... BTW, I think that the spring jump method crossed out above does work with the Large Sammer Guys like Koopa in Winter or End Boss... doesn't it? |

Hairy Arantula in the Grass, because he can leap high enough to nibble on your earlobes. |
