Yes, I am definitely picking this game up. This really takes control of the Wii's graphic capabilities, and seems very fun at the same time.
I want to see this on the 360 and ps3, to be honest. What new features it'll add, and so forth.

Do not like.
Have you seen the classic Sonic games? Also, I thought the Sonic series was supposed to be about speed, which all but the Sonic Rush series and Secret Rings lacked. ಠﮯ๏

The people who say that have no idea what the classic Sonic games were about.

Contrary to what so many people seem to believe, the classic Sonic games actually weren't all that fast. They were faster than Mario games, yes, but that's about it. There was a much greater emphasis on platforming and finding your own routes through the levels than on speed.
It looks like thats in this sonic game, honestly, You know where it had the combo buttons? I believe I read when you press the combo, you usually would go into a secret route. And if you noticed there were chances where you could go up or down.

A few minor decisions in a game that seems to mostly play itself. I don't want to be cynical, but that's pretty much all I've seen in the game's videos.

True. Well, we'll only know until we play the game ourselves!

Um excuse me? Secret rings is the fastest sonic game to date.

Hm...if IGN is to be believed, the Wii version is shaping up to be the best of the bunch. I wouldn't be surprised, since Dimps was on board (they did the Advance and Rush series). Funny, how the team that invented the character forgot how to make a decent game for him. Confused

Probably because most of the members of the original team left.

I find it interesting that you can actually track the departure of key members of Sonic Team through the series' declining quality...

Yeah, I've noticed that sometimes....
Not to blame the voice actors, but is it me, or did the series really go downhill after 4Kids got involved?

Personally, I think it went downhill at Sonic 06.
Sonic Heroes is getting bashed more than it needs to be, and Shadow the Hedgehog is half decent once you rule out the problems in the game that have to do with the gameplay gimmicks and are completely optional(Guns, most vehicles, etc).

Sonic 06 had no redeeming value past a great soundtrack.ಠ_ಠ

I'll probably get it for the PS3. DLC content and stuff.
