Anyways, from the liitle playtesting I have done, the PS3 is one of the most expensive pieces of crap I've seen all my life. The Wii has better games. Plain and simple. You're just too "HARDCORE" to actually give *crag*. Nintendo was, and will always be, good. |

Nintendo is starting to suck. I don't like how they've dropped all the hardcore stuff and gone almost 100% casual. There's something called a happy medium: Keep fans both old AND new happy. Make a balance. Who knows, maybe Mr. Hardcore will wanna play Wii Fit once in a while, and old Granny Newbie will try out Zelda to see what all the hype was about! |

Just to put it out there, I DID pay him to take the name casual gamer, and begin to act like one, so don't be hard on the guy. I don't wish for my own amusement to go too far.
Anyways, what you said about graphics is not comprehending what I meant. I blamed the current state of graphics. Look at fangames. LOOK AT THEM. They're almost all sprites. Why are so few of them 3D? It's obviously easier to make something with sprites. Making 3D, especially graphics like these days could take a LOT of work. Maybe making 3d games is too much of a job.
WELL IF THAT'S THE FREAKING CASE, BRING BACK THE SUPER NINTENDO GRAPHICS YOU LAZY CRAGS.
But it's not (fully) the case. There's the casuals.

The Wii is suffering from the same problem against the 360 that the Gamecube suffered from against the PS2, in that it had a very small selection of games to choose from. Only, this time around, it has a very small selection of quality games, whereas the overwhelming majority of the games are terrible, while the Xbox 360 is providing a great selection of quality titles.
Nintendo is failing against the 360 in terms of providing a decent library. And, as the PS3 starts to heat up while the Wii is showing few signs of changing for the better, it might turn out as the worst console of this generation.

A "Hardcore" gamer isn't a gamer who is obsessed with shooters/gore/graphics/M-rated games. He's simply a gamer that's passionate about games, plays games from a variety of genres, views games as an art-form, and has a discerning taste. A "Casual" gamer is a gamer who doesn't respect videogames as an art form, plays them from time to time as simple toys without true passion, and has no interest in playing high-profile titles. |
