Yeah. I don't think it's going to have like a plot or anything. It'll just be like a Zelda puzzle game. I hope not.. |
Considering that it specifically mentions being able to skip through to certain story events...I doubt it. |

The point is that the Hint system will be optional. It's just a last resort if you absolutely can't solve it. |
How unthankful you are: www.gamefaqs.com They've always helped out. Why do they need to put hints into the game. People will use the hints more frequently when they just need to press a button to get up the hint screen. |

If you're a total wuss and want to drain the fun out of the game by using hints all the time, then that is your fault. Besides, not everyone enjoys getting up, going to the computer, and looking up what could be a retardedly simple answer effectively wasting a good 5-6 minutes of their lives.
That's like saying a game is bad for having cheat codes.
Besides, just imagine being able to fight that one epic boss again without having to go through those 5 tedious dungeons before him. |

That's exactly what I meant. You have to go to the drugs store to buy drugs, because in ordinary stores people could misuse opportunities to buy it. If you have to go to Gamefaqs to find cheat codes and waste 5-6 minutes, then you would at least try any possible way before you turn on your computer. If you just need to press one button it will be more temting to try. And then you will get the whole game in hints and screw all the fun. |

What so bad about that? Now nintendo can make a REAL HARDCORE ZELDA, without worrying about the casuals getting stuck. So in the end Weエre all winners. |

Why am I not convinced that the hint button is in because the game is super hardcore ? I mean, when I go to the store and look at the Wii shelf, it's SWAMPED with weaksauce third party crap because "OMG THE WII IS FOR PEOPLE WHO'VE NEVER PLAYED BEFORE !!1111!!!oneoneleventy" and they clusterf*ck it with games because aparently every clueless idiot on the planet checks out the Wii and wants to start gaming, and so there have to be a billion games to get the gullible / newbies' money.
On the other hand, if we could use the "Time Keeps On Slipping"-save system to fight bosses over and over it could be good.

Super smash bros Brawl was one of the main reasons I bought Wii. If it wasn't for that game I would have a PS3 right now. I didn't want the Xbox shit at all. |

No, this is a great idea. It's a HINT button, not an ANSWER or WALKTHROUGH button. |

I'm not gonna say anything until I see how it's used in-game.
But, I still wonder where that steampunk deku-nut gun thingy went. |

But, I still wonder where that steampunk deku-nut gun thingy went. | It was just some stupid fan rumor. It's 99% likely not to happen
