I'll buy it just because im OCD with this kinda stuff and I need everything, but you could just buy a M3 flashcart and install the M3 Sakura firmware onto that, and get all of the features on the DSi onto the DS right now, sans the camera |

I can't believe nobody said anything about Guitar Hero. If there's no GBA slot, there's no GH. Also, I think the main menu will have channels like the Wii. I suppose it will basically be a transportable with a touch screen, different games, and a built-in camera and mic. |

Nintendo could release an add-on to the SD card slot that enabled the playing of GBA games. If they did that, I'd love them. |

Anyway, it's an add on. An add on that artificially gives the console a nervous system. |

And even then, you could get an r4 for most of it(minus DSi exclusive software), and eliminate the need for a DSi. However, the DSi will quite likely be a target for homebrewing, much like the PSP, since there will be no real need to buy any games using illegal software, and the like. However, such a thing is possibly still in its concept stages. |

That goes without saying. It's a controller. This is different.
This is something that was there to begin with, but it would have to be purchased again in a different version of hardware you already owned before.
Think about it this way. When the Wii came out, you didn't need an adapter to play GameCube games, or anything. It was built in, because they knew backwards compatibility is a popular market, and they knew that the GameCube had good games, so they built that in.
Do you know just how stupid it is to remove a major functionality like, you know, playing games on the DS, between versions of that hardware? |
