*The cave's entrance turned into solid rockwall. Inside the cave was a large frozen lake, with Omoi frozen inside. The Squirrel stood by the edge of the lake, and looked at Omoi, frozen in the lake*

"Omoi...one of my sisters. Why she's frozen here is beyond me, but I guess she needs freeing." She opened up her spellbook, and it began to glow. Some quick chanting in a language known by Omoi, then..."Raging mist!" A red-hot red field formed on the ice, and began creating steam due to the combination of hot flames and water. The ice started melting quickly.

... Why did you unfreeze me?

Her tone was simple, and lacked real emotion in it. "Because I wouldn't be able to read with the animals constantly harassing me, and freeing you would logically quiet them."

Oh, that makes sense. Maybe they missed me?
But you shouldn't have unfroze me. I liked being frozen in there...

I don't see how you would enjoy being frozen. You wouldn't be aware you were frozen until you're thawed, so you miss the entire sensation of being frozen. It's trivial now, though, as now the animals will leave me be.

Oh, I did forget something just now. I have something of yours, you must have left it behind somewhere and I found it...
*a page, identical to the first spell page in her book flutters down from the cave ceiling, and slowly, twirls in the air like a dance*

*sudden surprise* What?! How'd a page get taken out of my book?! *opens her book and flips to the spell section to see if the page is indeed missing*

*The page would be identical to the first page in the section*

*sigh of relief* Wait, what? That's a copy....why did you say you have something of mine? That page is just a copy...isn't it?

A copy... but what if your book is a copy, and this page is from the original? Not that I'm saying it is... but wouldn't that be scary?
What if someone else has a copy... or the original book? And what if that someone figures out how to read it?
Gaaaa, I'm scaring myself now! ;;

...No, I'm sure mine is the original. That page is from a copy. I should find whoever made it, especially since, due to what is known as godmodding, it is possible to translation, the text of the pages can be read. If it's in the wrong hands, the results could be most disastrous.
