Also, if you haven't noticed, that is a made-up story written 400 years ago.
You can't compare real life to that. It's just irrational to base opinions from fictional books (OMG TWILIGHT), because someone could write whatever they wanted and have people believe it, if the world worked that way. |

Yes, true love can happen within 72 hours. But I'm sure they weren't with each other 24 hours a day for 3 days. Let's just say they where with each other 7 hours each day, then it would take 10 days. Now let's say they're where with each other 3 hours a day, then it would take 24 days. Which would be about 3 weeks. So yes, it's possible. |

I agree with this. And on top of that:
Romeo had no clue what he was doing. If you've ever actually read/seen the play, Romeo was already in "love" with some chick named Roseline and was rejected by her and was all depressed and then just saw Juliet and was all "OMG, I LOVE THIS GIRL SO MUCH!!!" and they actually kissed several times within the first five minutes of meeting each other. They knew nothing of each other and were both desperate. One was on the rebound and the other wanted to get out of marrying some rich guy who was the cousin of the prince. They weren't just stupid teens. They were really stupid teens.
And that is the case of this. |
