It seems to me that, the better the graphics get, the worse the plot is. |

There was a rant in a magazine I read once and I want to paraphrase part of it seeing as I don't have it with me at school. We don't care how realistic your (drop of?) water is, how it interacts with the rest of the ocean, if we can't do anything with it... (I forget what else there is, will edit with true quote once I find it) The realistic graphics are the main focus these days, with the immersive plot and intuitive gameplay mechanics taking a seat way at the back. Cya![/carpaccio] |

Shit! I forgot to add that! D:
I own it, too. I forgot to look what game was currently IN my N64. XD
Added, for sure. I love that game.
Also, Game Cube is up. |

I agree with most of your list thus far.
I would agree with all of it, but there are games I haven't played. 3:|════׀ |

Here's a wacky idea:
List some games that aren't completely obvious when it comes to 'need-to-play' game lists. |

I didn't like Crystal Chronicles, but all of the other ones I've played on this list, I loved. Though Pokemon Snap got kind of redundant.
The Pokemon Stadiums were great to play with friends over. Love the cute mini games! |

Gex 1 and 3, Chibi Robo, Custom Robo, Hey You, Pikachu!, Mario Party 5 (I don't know many other people that are nuts for it). Quest 64? I mean come on, who the hell expected that?
And besides, these are games that I've played, sooo... If it's not on the list and it's a good game, then I haven't played it. Oh, and I added a few more GC games:
Cel Damage (Not obvious) Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (Pretty obvious) Evolution Worlds (Yeah, no one expected this) Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (Maybe obvious) Metroid Prime 1 & 2 (Okay, completely obvious)
I forgot to tally the games in my living room, by my Wii. These were int he pile. |

I like Luigi's Mansion. Sunshine. Chibi-Robo. Pikmin. Melee was good, but it wasn't the best Smash Brothers. I'm gonna have to go with Brawl. |

I agree with pretty much everything on this list. I almost went through the entire list without seeing Tales, which made me quite upset. |

Sad, but often true.
Granted there ARE exceptions to this, but they are few and far between.
As to teh lists:
Cel Damage: OH HELL YES. Most addicting game EVER. Who DOESN'T want to use Dynamite Crossbows, Gunship attachments or nukes (yes, NUKES) to wipe out 'toons?
Rocket: Robot On Wheels - I'm a little surprised this isn't up there, because it's an oft-overlooked game. But a fun one at that.
Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie: A pair of great games, made by Rare (*crag* you, Nintendo, for selling this great company to Micro$oft...). Alas, I have never played the second, much to my regret.
Bomberman 64: Ah, mindless destruction. Such a great time-waster. And so much fun.
Just one question: How the frack do you beat the first boss of Altair's Castle?!?
EDIT: More Stoof...
Jet Force Gemini: Squishing bugs has never been so much fun. The heavy artillery you get to use is a big plus, as well.
Goldeneye 007: It doesn't follow the movie very well, but who cares?! The destruction and mayhem you can create is more than worth it.
Perfect Dark: I had actually set a goal with this game once I had gotten it: To beat the game in 6 months (or by the end of the year), all the way through Perfect Agent in the main storyline. And I did it, all the while NOT cheating by using a PD Game Boy cartridge to get All Guns, Invisibility, and the other 2 cheats you get that way.
Ocarina of Time: Duh. Majora's Mask: Double Duh.
Gex 64 and Gex 3: I'd never played these games, but I wanna at some point.
Paper Mario: This is the ONLY Mario RPG I have NOT played. I intend to fix that once I get enough VC points.
