I think that should only apply to Nintendo.
3D games for Sony/Microsoft are generally hard IMO. Nintendo went in the direction of casual gaming ever since the release of the Wii, no maybe even when the DS was first announced.
This whole 2D/3D thing is really a Nintendo thing, kinda like the Wii vs. SNES.

Yeah I miss the old nintendo. Nintendo 64, SNES, NES, Gameboy Advance, meh even GameCube was better than the Wii. I hope next generation Nintendo does something more innovative than make another Wii with a hard drive and more minor features. I would like maybe a way improved GameCube with a hard drive, great online, and more of a system for the hardcore gamers.
