The water temple has too many keys.
The water temple was actually so hard Master Quest somehow made it easier. Explain that. |

I concur. I started a regular Ocarina game and a Master Quest game at the same time, and the Water Temple in Master Quest took a quarter of the time it took me in the original. |

It was too monotonous. It was pretty much get a key, change the water level, get another key, change it again, get an item, change it again... That's why everyone lost track of where they were and got lost, giving it the illusion of being "hard". |
