One person controls Mario, and a pointer, (which shoots stars to kill enemies and such) while the other person just controls a pointer, which can hold things in place to make it easier for player 1.

I can't wait to see 3-D Fire Mario in action.
And I'll probably use the co-op feature to help my brother not die.
Let's just say he's not exactly the best at video games. >_>
