Synchonized Swimming (Beat that hedgehog that has only been able to swim in one game!)
Hammerthrow (good thing he got to practice for this event by fighting Bowser in Super Mario 64) |

But you have seen him throw an oversized koopa by its tail pretty far, haven't you? What about his swimming skills? The sports games he's been in? Saving of princesses? Jumping on various enemies? |

Do you know how long gamers have wanted to see any game that had both of them in it? Heck, there's even a few willing to buy the game to simply encourage SEGA to let their hedgehog out to play with the plumber more often. |

Personally, I think this game is going to be a dud.
One reason is because it's an Olympics based Mario/Sonic game (no offense to those that like the idea).
The other reason is that what Mario is good at and Sonic isn't, Mario will ultimately win. Vise-versa for Sonic. Plus, Sonic would have to literally be slowed down for racing games, plus if there is a swimming event, Sonic can't swim and hates water. You get my point. |

Does this mean there will be some crazy story where Mario and Sonic come to the real world and through a series of events and then for no reason someone find their ways into china where they decide to compete in the Olympics to see who is the best for no reason? |

1. Riding bikes (That takes SKILL and BALANCE. Not random peddling).
2. Kart racing.
3. Hammer toss (Mario can toss me like a teddy bear! If Sonic tried to swing a hammer around, it would be stuck to the ground).
4. Swimming.
5. Wrestling.
...So what would Sonic win at? Oh, right... THE ONE-HUNDRED METER DASH! |
