I can't believe no one's said this yet:

THE WHOA ZONE! That is ultimately the funnest place in all of SPM. In any Paper Mario, for that matter.

Oh yeah... definitely on my list. But it's too long anyway.

One place memorable for me didn't really involve fighting or violence. It was peaceful but you did have to solve some problems. To remind you of what I mean read this description.

Located in the north of the sea, the town is located on a rather small area of land, but is built up rather high. There is a grassy plain upon landing on the island. On the far side of the plain is a Bomb Shop. There is a main gate to the town, and the path through the city winds up somewhat counterclockwise. The island's most notable feature is its ferris wheel (which is easily mistaken for a windmill) that also serves as a lighthouse. There are many important locations on the island, including the Potion Shop, Lenzo's (the photographer) home, the mansion, and the jail cell where Tingle is held. It is here where the most non-playable characters inhabit, most of whom have some sort of storyline or back-story, Link can earn many valuables such as treasure maps and heart pieces via running errands relating to these characters.

If you haven't figured out yet, I'm sure you have, but it was Windfall Island from the Wind Waker. I just don't know why but this was a memorable area for me and also reminded me of Kakariko Village in the Ocarina of Time. The song was also sounded like a remix of the village.

Windfall Island was actually originally part of the Hyrule castle market. Why is it so different then? If you were an island, and you drifted far from where you originally were, wouldn't you be different too?
