Someone saw my ad today. I'm so excited you wouldn't believe it, Diary - not because there's a villain, oh no! it's because I, Luigi, shall finally have the chance to save the Mushroom Kingdom... and do it on my own! No big bro at my side this time to help, but that won't stop me. I've got a job to do. Yep... I'm pretty good at saving stuff. And there's a poor Princess Goomba that needs to be saved by a strong, musclebound hero.
So of course, I've decided to leap right to it. She's being held captive in the old Koopa Bros. Fortress that my brother stormed on one of his older adventures... imagine. He got to go and save the Star Spirit, but not me. Me, the Great Luigi! Talk about lame!
Merlon has agreed to watch over the house while I'm away. He gave me this cool ancient sphere, which lets him communicate with me, no matter how far away I am.
Problem is, I'm not sure what sort of bad guys are waiting for me at that old castle... so I'll have to go prepared! I mean, I'm not afraid or anything. It'll be a piece of cake. Until then, Diary... wish me luck on my adventure! |
