This movie BETTER not be Live-Action. That would phail horribly times one million. If it's animated, that might not be SO bad, but the idea of a game like SPM turning into a movie is weird. I mean, come on, the action scenes would be the stages? I'd get bored eventually. They should give out free Wii remotes at the premiere if this actually comes out. Lol. |

The problem is, whenever something is "translated" into another genre (Comic book -> Game, Movie -> Game, Movie -> Book, etc.) it will always SUCK. Seriously. So I say we should leave SPM as it his, regardless how tempting a movie adaption is,. Also, Imagine... All the characters would TALK. With HUMAN voices. WHAT IF COUNT BLECK SOUNDS LIKE A RETARDED ALARM CLOCK ? AND I DON'T EVEN WANT TO FACE THE HORROR OF A GERMAN SPM MOVIE ! The game translation was bad enough, but that as a movie...

I think it would be sweet if it's done RIGHT. I mean, the end of the game, the plot got SO GOOD there, slick! If they managed to make an animated movie that was as good as the game, it would be a miracle worth seeing. I mean the Animal Crossing movie wasn't half bad... |

A movie version of Super Paper Mario could actually be pretty nice if it's done right. I can easily see the movie being in 2D, switching to 3D occassionally. But if it's with human actors, like a certain other Mario movie, then no thank you.
Even if it's done well, though, I'm not sure if I'd want to watch the german version if such a movie does come out. Too many bad names and a pretty high risk of bad voice actors. x_x; |
