Ignoring them doesn't do anything. Spammers don't have minds in the first place. Their only objective to ruin forums. They don't care if anyone pays attention as long as they get to screw around and do whatever they want. This is what contradicts your theories of just telling them to stop or ignoring them. If you ignore them you are doing what they want, if you don't have power and tell them to stop they don't have to pay attention to you. That's how it works.

Mods need to be highly disciplined... someone who's not afraid to do something, even if it might attract negative attention toward him/her. I support the idea for Global Mods! I also recommend the creation of an Admin Board or CP... where Forum Mods, Global Mods and Admins can privately discuss matters.


I only know this info... cause I was an administrator. But... I don't care if someone else gets chosen. My advice? Don't power abuse. <.<
